3. Data Security & Encryption
ShieldMind prioritizes your privacy with military-grade encryption and security measures:
- All user data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being saved to the database
- Location coordinates are automatically encrypted during collection
- Health metrics and personal notes are encrypted at rest
- Mood logs and shift session data are encrypted in storage
- Data is encrypted both at rest and in transit (HTTPS)
- User passwords are securely hashed using industry-standard algorithms
- No unencrypted sensitive data is stored on our servers
- No data is shared with third parties
4. Automatic Data Deletion (90-Day Policy)
We respect your privacy and automatically delete your data within 90 days upon request or account closure:
The following data will be permanently deleted:
- Personal information (name, email, profile details)
- All physiological data (heart rate, HRV, stress metrics) - encrypted
- Mood logs and emotional check-in records - encrypted
- Shift session logs and readiness scores - encrypted
- Training and exercise history
- Location history (encrypted coordinates) and access logs
- AI coaching interactions and chat history
- All encryption keys associated with your account
- Any associated metadata or derived insights

5. Third-Party Services
ShieldMind integrates with wearable devices to enhance health tracking. These integrations:
- Only access health data you authorize
- Do not share encrypted data with third parties
